The Designer
Marcelo Lopez
Marcelo Lopez was born in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico and was inspired by his grandfather at a very young age, being the grandson of the tailor Marchello Chan Britonni who was known for his excellent men's trousers.
He graduated in fashion design in 2020 with a double degree in Italian design from the Universidad del Valle de México and the Nouva Accademia de Belli Arte of Milan.
He is the designer and CEO of his own brand MARCELO CHIC, and he opened his new Atelier in 2023 and now has lines for women, men and even pets, as well as footwear, jewelry, shoes and leather goods collaborations.
